Nenad Borovcanin - THE SERBIAN PUNCHER !

His name is NENAD BOROVCANIN !
He was born in Loznica,a city (since 2008) and municipality in western Serbia with a population around 90.000.He now lives in Banja Luka (Bosnia Herzegovina).
The fans call him ``NESO``.His is undefeated.According to boxrec.com his record is 25-0-0 !

At his last fight,heavyweight Nenad Borovcanin easily dispatched Johnathan Pasi in two rounds. Borovcanin floored his opponent twice with body punches before Pasi’s corner threw in the towel after 54 seconds of the second stanza.

He answered me to the following questions.

OnlyFighters : Nenad,you are an undefeated boxer.What are your expectations for the near future?Maybe a title?

Nenad Borovcanin : Sure!First i will fight in an undercard event in Geselkirchen (the main event will be Vitali Klitschko vs. Albert Sosnowski). If i win,then i can fight for the vacant WBO european heavyweight title.

For them who don`t know ,the undercard or preliminary matches consists of preliminary bouts that occur before the headline or "main event" of a particular boxing event.

OnlyFighters : Do you know,who will be your opponent in that event?

Nenad Borovcanin : No.I am waiting for his name.

OnlyFighters : Among your opponents until now,who was the toughest one,the opponent you felt for good in the ring?

Nenad Borovcanin : Andreas Guenther in a fight in Zlatibor,Serbia.Also the fight against Jonathan Pasi(in Klitschko`s event) was also hard,before i fight him,the training session.I fought in front of 54.000 people who were there.

OnlyFighters : Jonathan Pasi was weeker than you.It was obvious.He must took a lot of pain at his ribs after your punches.Do you like body punches?

Νenad Borovcanin : Ι like fifty-fifty points on body and face.It`s good when someone works body/face - face/body!

OnlyFighters : Many boxers say that they want first to take a hard punch from the opponent to start giving their best.Does it happens with you?

Νenad Borovcanin : No.Every boxer can be dangerous.

OnlyFighters : Τhe most difficult fight to win?

Νenad Borovcanin : In Podgorica.I had 6 difficult rounds against Werner Kreiskott there,because i didn`t train and i had 10 kilos more tha my normal weight.But i won.

OnlyFighters : What do you say to people that criticize you,that your opponents aren`t so strong so far?

Nenad Borovcanin : Some of them had bad scores,but our fights were good critics were positive too.


OnlyFighters : How do you react against not so strong opponents.Do you like to punish them in the ring?Give them some good pain,before you take them down?

Νenad Borovcanin : No.I just like boxing.Not to be hard with opponents.I like it when punches come like a surprise!

OnlyFighters : What are your best punches?

Nenad Borovcanin : My best are the left hook and uppercut.

OnlyFighters : You have two fights against Adnan Buharalija.What do you think about him and these two fights?

Nenad Borovcanin : Yes,i have two fights with him.He was one of the stronger and that`s why we met eachother in ring.But after our fights we are good friends.

Nenad Borovcanin : In the first fight i won him by K.O. ,but the second fight was a win for me by decision after six rounds.

OnlyFighters : What did Adnan say to you after these fights?He admits that you are better than him?

Nenad Borovcanin : Fair play!He congratulated me and said that i am really better than him.

OnlyFighters : Take us to the backstage Nenad.What happens when you and Adnan Buharalija train together?You think it`s easy for him to train with someone who beat him twice?You think he maybe wants a third fight with you?

Nenad Borovcanin : We fighted in 2005 and 2006 and since then we are friends.I think that he doesn`t want any other match with me.

OnlyFighters : When someone look at you,your face and body,doesn`t realize how strong you are.Do you think that opponents underestimate you sometimes?

Nenad Borovcanin : Some opponents and sparring partners say to me that they thought i wasn`t so strong.They say that i have baby face.But after we meet in ring ,they change their minds,saying that i `m good.



OnlyFighters : Who was the most disrespectful opponent againt you until now?

Nenad Borovcanin : Adnan Buharalija.

OnlyFighters : Your friend?Why you say that?

Νenad Borovcanin : You asked me,who didn`t respect me before fight.Adnan.

ΟnlyFighters : Ι thought you kidding.You mean it?


Nenad Borovcanin : Yes.Ηe has a big heart.

OnlyFighters : Adnan looks harder than you and his body and shape are better than yours,but although you gave him a good punishment in ring.

Nenad Borovcanin : These were good fights.

OnlyFighters : Sure he is a good man to accept to be friend with someone who beat him.

Nenad Borovcanin : It is boxing.

OnlyFighters : You are right.May the best man win!I think you have more power inside you Nenad,than normal fighters have.It must be one of your secrets i think.You look so confident!When i see you in the ring,it`s like you are THE MAN in there,no matter who the opponent is.First role fighter!

Νenad Borovcanin : Μy family,my wife and son!Then my other family and friends.

Nenad Borovcanin : No,i never fought in Greece before.I was for holiday in Porto Caras 4 years ago.Nice sea!

Bill ``Superfoot`` Wallace !He is THE kickboxer !

Bill ``Superfoot`` Wallace (born 1945) is an american martial artist,who was a Professional Karate Association world full contact karate Champion.He was middleweight kickboxer champion for over 15 years!

Wallace was born in Portland,Indiana and trained in wrestling during his high school years.He began his study of Judo in 1966 and was forced to discontinued his Judo related activities due to an injury he suffered to his right knee during practice.He then began to studya Shorin-ryu Karate in February 1967 while serving in the U.S Air Force. After entering the point fighting tournament scene and achieving success there, he switched to full-contact kickboxing.

Here is the third round of a classic kickboxing match between Bill ``Superfoot`` Wallace and Joe Lewis.Great fighters both.However it seems to me more like an exhibition match but sure there must be good pain for both fighters.



With the coaching help of veteran fighter Jim 'Ronin' Harrison, Wallace won 23 consecutive professional fights between 1974 and 1980,becoming the Professional Karate Association middleweight world full-contact karate champion and retiring.He was known for his fast left leg kicks,especially his roundhouse kick and his hook kick, which was clocked at about 60 mph. He focused on his left leg due the Judo-related injury to his right knee, using the right leg primarily as a base. He also suffered the loss of one testicle during a point fighting tournament, when his protective cup was struck at an unfortunate angle.

A year later, Wallace turned professional and captured the PKA middleweight karate championship with a second-round knockout. He relinquished the crown in 1980, undefeated. The PKA promoted the sport of full-contact karate. Full-contact karate differed from kickboxing in that leg kicks were allowed in kickboxing and forbidden in full-contact karate.

Wallace studied at Ball State university, earning a bachelor`s degree in 1971 in physical education.In 1976, he earned a master`s degree in Kinesiology from Memphis State University.

Wallace has taught Karate, Judo, Wrestling, and weight lifting at Memphis State University and has also authored a college texbook on Karate and Kinesiology. He is the author of three books: Karate: Basic Concepts & Skills , Dynamic Kicking & Stretching, and The Ultimate Kick, and continues to give seminars.

He has also acted, most notably in ``A Force of One``starring Chuck Norris.Wallace was also the play-by-play commentator for the inaugural Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view event in 1993 alongside a fellow kickboxer Kathy Long and NFL Hall of famer Jim Brown. He also runs the Superfoot organization which are karate schools under his system. His film credits include ``A Force of One`` with Chuck Norris,``Kill Point`` with Cameron Mitchell,``Continental Divide`` and ``Neighbors`` , with John Belushi,``The Protector`` with Jackie Chan,``Los Bravos`` with Hector Echavarria,``A prayer for the dying`` with Mickey Rourke,``Ninja Turf`` and `` A sword of heaven`` . Wallace was a close friend of John Belushi and was the one who found him dead of a drug overdose at the Chateau Marmont on March 5, 1982.
